FOR ALL MY SAVIOR DIED

There is a great conflict of interest between a born again Christian, who is an ambassador for Christ, and the military goals of any nation.

FOR ALL MY SAVIOR DIED

I am a Christian, born again,

My life begun anew.

The life I’ve led, the things I’ve done,

I can no longer do.

I am the Lord’s, and He is mine,

His life through me will shine.

To every kindred, tongue, and tribe,

To all of humankind.

*

I want to do, as Jesus taught,

Who walked this earth below.

To offer words of healing love,

Not misery and woe.

*

I’m here on earth, to share the Word,

Not harm to any bring.

I cannot take a human life,

And still call Jesus King.

*

A very narrow road I walk,

Though some do walk beside.

I cannot join in war because,

For all my Savior died.

*

I’m of a different Kingdom now,

A pilgrim here on earth.

Ambassador for Christ I am,

Because of my new birth.
