Are your roots deep in “church”?

What a great place to be,

Unless, of course, Jesus,

And His Word you don’t see.

You are faithful and true,

Yes, to all over you,

Ne’re question a teaching,

Whether it be untrue.

You’re not a “lone ranger,”

You are part of the crowd,

And all the church teaches,

You repeat it aloud.

Just like the old days when,

Jesus came to His own,

They followed their leaders,

But sweet Jesus disowned.
